This week has been a journey of inspiration, filled with enlightening discussions with my peers in veterinary practice. Many of us started our paths at the same time, and reflecting on our initial dreams and the incredible strides we’ve made fills my heart with pride and gratitude. Our story is a remarkable one, woven with dedication, love, and the countless special moments we’ve shared with your beloved pets. 🐾 We’ve grown to become a unique veterinary center, offering personalized care and exploring innovative treatments that have changed lives – from helping paralyzed pets walk again to reversing symptoms in chronically ill furry friends, and even enabling a medication-free, joyful life for many. 💜 These success stories motivate us to keep pushing boundaries and exploring the endless possibilities in pet healthcare.
Today, I bring an important update: the introduction of Glyphosate Testing in our practice. Glyphosate, the most commonly used herbicide worldwide, poses a significant health risk. ❣️
Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide on the planet. With a staggering 736 million pounds being used annually globally, it’s crucial to understand its impact on our health and take proactive measures to mitigate its effects.
Studies have shown that 86% of people tested have detectable levels of glyphosate in their urine, with levels skyrocketing by 3800% over the past two decades. Disturbingly, animals bear an even heavier burden, with dogs found to have levels up to thirty times higher and cats up to sixteen times higher than humans. 🤯
This chemical disrupts bacterial balance, increases pathogenic activity, and is linked to various health issues, including organ disease, immune issues, and certain cancers.
Glyphosate is mostly eliminated through urine and feces, suggesting that reducing dietary exposure can quickly lower its levels. Our holistic approach combines routine testing with dietary and lifestyle adjustments, aiming to minimize glyphosate levels effectively.
➡️ Every pet should be tested, but we especially recommend testing for pets experiencing:
- Unexplained gastrointestinal issues
- Chronic digestive distress
- Persistent skin irritation or inflammation
- Frequent ear infections or head shaking
- Excessive licking
- Hair loss
- Ongoing cough or sneezing
- Runny eyes
- Diarrhea or vomiting without a known cause
