🐾 We Think It’s Outdated…

Hello dear friends,

I’ve had this experience happen with a couple clients so for today let’s call my client Isabella…

My 2 o’clock looked extremely nervous as she stepped through the door. 

Isabella told me again how Rori, her Pomeranian, gets very, very stressed during vet appointments. 

I gently touched her hand and reminded her, ‘We’re not your ordinary vets.’ 

It breaks my heart to see pet parents so anxious because I know it comes from having had less than fun experiences at the vet for both dog and parent. 

‘I know acupuncture will help his inflammation, but he hates needles’ 

‘Then we won’t use needles.’ 

She shot me a confused look. 

How was I going to do acupuncture without needles? 

Isabella’s shoulders dropped, and she took a deep breath. She was watching Rori sit on a plushy pillow on the floor, contently licking his licky mat. 

Nothing matters more to us than our babies being okay. 

I placed two devices resembling flashlights on Rori’s back and began performing nanolight acupuncture. He looked up at me and then returned to his licky mat. 

No needles? No problem 😎

Nanolight technology uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate acupuncture points on the body without using needles. We have seen the results even better than the traditional needling techniques!

You know, as far as my team and I are concerned, going to the vet SHOULDN’T be scary 💁‍♀️

To us, that’s an outdated idea.

Our clinic is a ‘home’ where patients come to feel better. 

Some pets, like Rori, do better with nanolight acupuncture, while others, like sweet Palmer over here, thoroughly enjoy their traditional acupuncture sessions.

Starlight Stories

Hey there, magical friends! 🌟 Starlight the Unicorn here, with a bit of a story to share. So, last weekend, Dianne and the family were all excited to head to the airport for their big trip to Hawaii. The sun was shining, everyone had their bags packed, and we were all set for an island adventure! But then… a little oopsie happened.

You see, in the hustle and bustle of getting ready, I got left behind. Yep, while they jetted off to paradise, I found myself hanging out in the backseat of the car, watching them head inside. At first, I thought, “No biggie! I’ll catch the next flight!” But as the hours passed and the car grew quiet, I started to feel something I didn’t expect… loneliness.

Being alone got me thinking about how much better everything is when you’ve got someone by your side. Whether it’s a partner, a best friend, or even a fuzzy little pet, having that connection makes all the difference. Loneliness is tough, even for sparkly unicorns like me!

So, when you’re enjoying your day, take a moment to appreciate the ones who make it special—those who share the good times and help you through the tough ones. Maybe that means giving your furry friend an extra cuddle, sending a sweet note to someone who might need it, or just being there when someone needs a little company.

And hey, Dianne and the family did bring me back a cool seashell from Hawaii, so I know they missed me too! 🌈✨
