We’re moving! 🎉
And not just moving—we’re moving to a space I’ve had my eye on for over a year. A space that feels like it’s been waiting for us. A space with room to grow, to dream, and—wait for it—an outdoor area. (Yes, the outdoor space I’ve been talking about forever. It’s finally happening!)
Let me back up and tell you how this all unfolded…
How It Happened (AKA: The Weekend I Signed a Lease in Wonderland)
I’ve known for a while that our current location would eventually be redeveloped. It’s been on my radar as a “future us” thing—something I’d deal with in a year or two.
But then this space became available. The space I’d been quietly admiring. The one at the corner of Crenshaw and Palos Verdes Drive North (you know, right by that charming little strawberry stand that pops up seasonally? 🍓).
I went to take a look. And the moment I walked in, I just… knew.
So this past weekend—the weekend before Christmas—I found myself signing a lease. But not in a conference room or an office. Oh no.
The landlord was hosting a massive Greek Orthodox St. Nicholas Day celebration at his home and couldn’t leave. So he invited us to his house. And what followed was one of the most surreal, wonderful experiences of my life.
Picture this: a table overflowing with traditional Greek food, extended family everywhere, stories about Greek traditions, homemade wine (which I politely declined), and me—sitting there with a pen in my hand, signing papers while feeling like I’d tumbled into Alice in Wonderland.
It was warm. It was unexpected. And honestly? It felt like exactly how this next chapter was meant to begin.
✨Where We’re Going (And When!)
📍 26516 Crenshaw Blvd, Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA 90275
Right at the corner of Crenshaw and Palos Verdes Drive North. If you’ve driven by, you’ve probably seen the strawberry stand that sets up seasonally—it’s that spot! 🍓
When are we moving?
We’re planning to be fully moved in and open by the end of February 2026. (I know, that’s soon! But also just enough time to make it magical.)
What This New Space Means 💚
Here’s what I’m most excited about:
🌿 An outdoor space! I have dreamed about this for years. A place where your pets can get fresh air during treatments, where we can do gentle therapies outside when the weather’s perfect, where it just feels… peaceful. Healing doesn’t always have to happen indoors.
🌿 More room to grow. More treatment rooms. More space for the therapies we love. More room for our team to collaborate and create the kind of care we’ve been building together.
🌿 A blank canvas. I won’t plan on making any major updates to the place just yet—and that’s intentional. Just like in our early days, we’re going to live and breathe in this space first. Feel it out. Let it tell us what it wants to be. And then we’ll add our touches—slowly, thoughtfully, with all the unicorn magic you’ve come to expect 🦄💜
This Time, We’re Doing It Together
When I built the first IPWC location, I was figuring everything out on my own. Designing the space, choosing the colors (purple and mint, obviously 😉), deciding where the treatment rooms would go, what the vibe would feel like.
It was exciting. It was also… a little lonely.
But this time? This time I’m not doing it alone.
I have an incredible team who’s been dreaming with me. I have you—this community of pet parents who’ve trusted us with your most beloved family members and who’ve shaped what IPWC has become.
And I have a whole new level of clarity about what we’re building here.
This isn’t just a veterinary clinic. It’s a space where science meets soul. Where your pet gets world-class integrative care and gets to lie on soft pillows instead of cold metal tables. Where you’re not rushed through appointments—you’re seen. Where healing happens in partnership, not in isolation.
This new space is going to reflect all of that—and more. ✨
What to Expect (AKA: The Adventure Ahead)
Here’s the thing: this is going to be a process.
We’re not walking into an Instagram-ready space on Day 1. (Though trust me, it will be Instagram-ready eventually. 😉)
We’re going to unfold this chapter together. You’ll get to see the transformation. The behind-the-scenes. The “before we add the unicorn touches” moments.
Just like in our early days, there will be a bit of organized chaos. A bit of “we’re building this as we go.” And a whole lot of heart.
Because the best things are always built with intention, not speed. 💜
(But if you want to join us for the day we sage the space, set our intentions, and infuse it with proper unicorn energy? We’re planning a small move-in party—and you’re invited! 🦄✨)
A Few Practical Things You Should Know
🦄 Your care won’t be interrupted. We’ll keep seeing patients at our current location right up until the move, and we’ll make the transition as seamless as possible.
🦄 We’ll keep you posted every step of the way. Expect updates, sneak peeks, and maybe a few “help us choose between these two paint colors” polls. 😊
🦄 If you have questions, concerns, or just want to tell us you’re excited—please reach out! We love hearing from you.
Why I’m Telling You This Now
Because you’re part of this story.
Every appointment. Every question you’ve asked. Every time you’ve trusted us with your fur baby’s care. Every time you’ve told a friend about us, or left a review, or just showed up with hope that we could help.
You’ve shaped what IPWC is. And you’re shaping what it’s becoming.
So as we step into this new space, I want you to know: this isn’t just my adventure. It’s ours. 🦄💚
Here’s to New Beginnings (And Strawberry Stands🍓)
As we close out 2025 and step into 2026, I’m feeling so much gratitude. For this community. For this work. For the magic that happens when you say yes to something that feels a little scary and a lot right.
Thank you for being here. For trusting us. For being part of this journey.
I can’t wait to welcome you and your fur babies to our new home. To show you the outdoor space. To let your pets lounge in the California sunshine while we talk about their wellness plan. To build something even more beautiful together.
And hey—maybe we’ll even grab strawberries from the stand right in the parking lot 🍓✨
Here’s to adventures, new chapters, and the magic of not knowing exactly how it’s all going to unfold—but trusting that it will be exactly what it’s meant to be.
With so much love and excitement,
Dr. Lily Chen & The Whole IPWC Team 💜🦄
P.S. If you drive by 26516 Crenshaw Blvd in the next couple months and see us peeking in the windows or measuring things with way too much excitement… wave! We’re probably daydreaming about where to place the next pet statue doing that yoga stance. 😉
P.P.S. If you have any questions about the move, your appointments, or anything else, please email us at info@integrativepet.com. We’re here for you. 💚
