If you’ve been in our unicorn space lately, maybe you’ve seen the plant on the coffee table in its big round glass bowl.

This one 👇

the plant on the coffee table

Once upon a time, it was a delicate fairy garden with tiny leaves nestled gently at the bottom, quiet and contained.

Now? The plants are bursting out. The roots press against the glass. The leaves stretch beyond the rim.

This little ecosystem has outgrown its container, but it hasn’t stopped growing.

I looked at it the other day and thought… I know this feeling.

When I started IPWC, it was just me. One room. One table.

I answered every message, did every check-in, placed every needle, and hugged every client goodbye.

That version of me held so much love and so much intention.

But she didn’t yet carry the power I hold now.

She didn’t know what was possible.

She hadn’t yet seen metastatic cancer disappear.

She hadn’t seen lifelong GI disease resolve after one powerful series of microbiome therapy.

She hadn’t watched pets once written off as “hopeless paralysis” regain the ability to walk!

Now, in this version of the Integrative Pet Wellness Center, we’ve come to expect miracles 💫

Not because they’re guaranteed, but because we’ve created the conditions where they have become possible.

And while I am still very involved in every aspect of the practice…it’s not only mine anymore.

IPWC is no longer one person doing all the things. It’s a healing container where a team, a community of pet parents, and a shared vision come together.

And I’ve seen it over and over again, our best outcomes come when the pet parents and our team hold the intention for that pet’s healing together.

That shared belief creates “a field” as Dr. Joe Dispenza calls it, where transformation can take root.

And this week, I was reminded again of that very magic ✨💫

One of our concierge patients came in for a recheck ultrasound on a cancerous liver mass we found 6 months ago during her wellness scan.

Since then, she’s been part of our concierge family showing up week after week for acupuncture, ozone therapy, mistletoe therapy, microbiome therapy, and a whole lot of love and intention.

And on Thursday, our specialist rechecked her ultrasound…and the mass was completely gone. Not a trace.

That moment, it stops you in your tracks.

This is the kind of healing we’ve come to believe is possible.

And while this makes me so happy, my biggest dreams are really about prevention.

Let’s together prevent the chronic illnesses, inflammatory conditions, and imbalances where all diseases start.

It’s about creating a world where health starts with prevention. Not reaction.

You see just like that little plant peeking over the bowl my vision has grown waaay beyond what it once was.

And the truth is if I try to do this all on my own, I’ll only ever help a handful of pets at a time.

But if I lean on my incredible team…

If I start teaching other vets who want to practice differently…

If I can create a Concierge Membership that means a lot more pet parents could join…

Then maybe—just maybe—these kinds of stories won’t be rare miracles anymore.

They’ll be the standard of care.

And what a world that would be.

So if you’ve been sitting on the fence about joining our concierge—or wondering how to get your pet this level of care—I have something special coming for you next week.

 Concierge Peek: This Week’s Insights

In our latest Concierge Circle call, we went down the rabbit hole of energy medicine and quantum—because sometimes, the healing journey takes us beyond supplements and prescriptions.

We explored something called quantum energy blocks (yes, they sound like sci-fi gadgets but stay with me ✨). These devices claim to help harmonize EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies) in our homes—the same EMFs that come from Wi-Fi routers, phones, and smart devices. We shared thoughts on how much unseen energy impacts our pets’ (and our own) health and what it means to create a truly healing environment.

If you are curious, these are the services and products we explored:
Quantum Upgrade
Leela Quantum Tech

But the biggest takeaway? Staying curious. Staying open-minded. So much of what I do today—microbiome therapy, mistletoe, ozone—started because I asked, “What if?” And some of our most miraculous cases happened because we were willing to try something new.

❤️ The conversations inside Concierge aren’t always clinical. They’re about creating healing spaces, raising our awareness, and supporting one another in this beautiful, messy journey of caring for our animals and ourselves.

PODCAST HOUR

podcast episode 50
This week’s guest is someone I absolutely adore, Shari! 💜 She’s a longtime client, a rockstar in our Concierge Membership, and one of the most open-hearted learners I know. Shari’s story is a reminder that when you stay curious and say yes to growth, amazing things can happen. She started her journey in vet med in the 80s as a kennel assistant. From there? She soaked up everything she could—learning lab work, radiology, even assisting with dentals—and eventually became a veterinary technician, then a beloved practice manager known for her leadership and compassion. But it wasn’t until her dad got sick that she discovered the world of holistic healing. That experience opened her eyes… and later, her heart, to integrative care for pets too. Now she runs a thriving doggy daycare, is deeply committed to her own cat’s preventative care, and brings so much wisdom to everything she does. We talk about the power of saying yes to the next right step, how integrative medicine found her when she was ready, and why being a lifelong learner might be the most magical trait of all. This episode will leave you feeling hopeful, inspired, and totally in love with Shari’s story 💫

STARLIGHT STORIES

Hi sweet friends! It’s me, Starlight the Unicorn 🦄✨

This week, I trotted through the clinic garden and saw SO many happy tails and wagging butts—it must be summer! But I also overheard a few of you saying things like:

“My dog won’t settle down,”
“My cat is shedding like crazy,”
or my personal favorite,

“Why is everyone suddenly licking their paws?”

So, I thought I’d share some of my favorite July pet parent tips:

🌞 Stick to a rhythm. Even with vacation vibes, pets love routine. Try to keep meal times, walkies, and cuddle sessions steady.

🍉 Chill out—literally! Frozen blueberries, watermelon cubes (no seeds!), or a lick mat in the fridge can keep things cool and stimulating.

🩷 Summer = shedding. Brush more often and check those paws after outdoor adventures (hello, foxtails and hot pavement!).

🌿 Don’t forget YOU. Your pets feel your energy—so if you’re frazzled, they may be too. Take a deep breath, grab some water, and give yourself a pat on the back for being such a magical pet parent.

You’re doing amazing, and your pet knows it. 💫

With tail wags and glitter,
– Starlight

UNICORN SPOTLIGHT

Meet Mickie

Say hello to our multi-talented unicorn, Mickie! 🎶🐴

When she’s not caring for your pets with heart and skill, you’ll find her writing music, riding horses, or binge-watching Yellowstone 🤠.

She’s a fan of cotton candy, loves a salty bag of chips, and never says no to a scoop of chocolate ice cream 🍫. We’re lucky to have her on our herd! 💖✨
