The Joy of Building and Creating:
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending the day with Dr. Magda, owner and lead veterinarian at Holistika Veterinary in Northern LA. We recorded a podcast session that was meant to last an hour but extended into a delightful three-hour conversation! We couldn’t stop talking! Over a wonderful lunch, we caught up on our lives and reflected on our journeys.
Magda and I both started our holistic practices in 2020, without knowing each other back then. Yet, we independently developed similar concepts and shared values for pet care. While our practices have their unique differences, our energies are wonderfully aligned. As Magda put it, we found kindred spirits in each other. 💖
We are both creative souls, constantly learning and expanding. Neither of us accepts the status quo, and we’re always looking for the next opportunity to innovate. For me, once things become stable, I yearn for the next project. My soul craves the process of creation and building.
I’m Building Again!
This time, I’m letting my creativity flow onto a blank canvas in an entirely new and unfamiliar area. Many of you know my story—how I started in a tiny 500-square-foot space with just a desk and a mat. It wasn’t glamorous, and I had no idea where it would lead. But those early days were exhilarating, filled with the thrill of creating something from nothing.
As my practice grew and settled into the vision I had, I sometimes missed the excitement of the unknown. I found that spark again when I embarked on creating my podcast. It’s a completely new arena for me, but I love the idea of sharing stories and chatting about our love for pets. Building something new feels like a child playing in a sandbox, creating masterpieces. The magic lies in seeing what emerges, feeling that familiar spark inside, and asking—what if? 🌟
I’ve always known I wanted to build something of my own. Routine bores my spirit. I thrive on innovation, challenging traditional methods, and viewing things from a different angle. Writing my own story excites me. So here I am, in that phase again, feeling the sparks fly—and loving every moment of it. It’s almost ready to meet the world, and I hope you will join me on this new adventure. ✨
Welcoming New Unicorns:
On a separate but equally exciting note, we will be welcoming three new unicorns to our team. My unicorns always find their way to me, and I believe the universe has my back in sending the best people meant to be here. We can’t wait to introduce them to you very, very soon! 🌈🦄
